This pretty much has to be a Gundam Wing live action remake. Sweeney can be Relena Peacecraft. She fits that role.

And you mentioned Henry Cavill.\
He pretty much has to be Zechs Merquise. He'll have to dye his hair blonde, though.
That way he can pilot the best, Gundam Epyon.
