You don't want to make stuffing inside the bird no matter how you're cooking it. You will either wind up with stuffing that hasn't gotten warm enough in the middle to kill bacteria and catch salmonella or you will overcook your bird in order to get the stuffing done. Better to just make the stuffing on the side regardless.
