It's not really a new faction, just new enemies to an existing faction.

They must've done an update this past week because difficulty RAMPED up. My team and I used to be able to crush 9/10 easily and we were getting our rears handed to us in bug territory.

The reaper strain was their answer to how easy people perceived the game, as well as bile titan holes that can't be closed with nades. It takes something bigger like a 500kg or ultimatum and they don't stop spawning once triggered.

I look forward to the wrapon customization.

With the new update, Chargers' stats are buffed.

I shot 4 commando rockets into one, then threw a thermite grenade on the front of it and it still didnt die. I had to throw a thermite grenade on its back-end to kill it. Previously, I could kill a Charger w/ 2 command rockets to the front-armor/exoskeleton.

Damn, I think I'm going to have to buy this for the PC. I own it on the PS5, but I let PS+ run out in December and don't feel like renewing it.

One cool part is there are other NPC soldiers and you can give them orders like follow, hold and they will even inject you with stims at times when you get injured

They get overrun easily - I had a squad hold a spot and as I left like 30 zombies overran them lol

I think I'll check this update out. Have not really played since release, only tried the new enemy faction once but ran out of ammo after 5 seconds so I decided to quit.

Whats a good weapon for the new enemies?

Edit: NM, allready gave up. Just zombies everywhere and no ammo. It's just not fun lol.

Zombies you usually want aoe weapons. Since you barely played I presume you don’t have much in way of warbond weapons or strategems, which would make it hard. The light machine gun stratagem might be good then - lots of ammo, can use it as a primary weapon mostly, and is good at dropping shields. Shit for armor pen, though

Welp, bought it and returned it on PC. There's no cross-save or cross-progression with the PS5. WTF? I'm not starting over after hours of progress on the PS5.

Havn't played in ages. I really dont want to try and get back up to speed on the damn key combo's for skills especially trying out new ones. I was terrible at piano/guitar.

Any good way of macroing your call ins and just leave the typedancing for flags/map stuff?

This is literally a loadout issue don't give up. Many things you need for illuminate, lots of bullets.

Sadly, that doesn't work. The devs thought there wouldn't be a demand for it and didn't implement it. They said a year ago they would look into it. I forgot about that bit of drama about the game.

A quick search gave me this when I was trying to figure out why linking the account wasn't working. It's a shame, I forgot this is a possibility in this day and age.

I’ve yet to succeed in one of the new mission types where you have to stop their landing of 40+ ships. Everything will be going okay and then I’ll get overrun by overseers and lose within 3 minutes.

Anything that's a stand-your-ground mission, I just don't play those missions. The ones where its like "kill terminids to thin their numbers for 15 minutes," or the equivalent. The devs have been putting less and less of those in new planets, so I think they know they're unpopular.
