hit lvl 10 with kael finally... his master skin is way too similiar to his normal skin though, screw that noise. I'll save for nova or sylvanas or jaina when they eventually hit 10 lol

This is solid advice, you will hit it so much faster than you think lol.
The only real problem with ETC in the current meta is there is so much stun/silence on all the popular Heroes so you are never going to land a good mosh unless you are playing new people, he is still super tanky though (and really fun).
Whenever I see someone with a MS of Nova I always assume they probably masturbate to hentai

I was able to do this, I completed it in the Alpha and it was reset, not sure about if you completed it in Beta or not.
::EDIT:: If you are like me and could not find the tutorial, it is the first option in the system Menu (ESC or the cog wheel on the lower right of the screen).
They brought up an interesting point on Town Hall last night that this game as so much anti-ADC but hardly anything to counter ability based carries like KT. Like there is imposing presence and so much attack speed reduced abilities but nothing that like increases the cooldown on your spells if you attack a certain person or an ability to slow your cooldowns.

I was in alpha for this but decided to play it last night, had a good time. Was using Valla since I got her before and had used her once.
What lanes is she most effective in? I Just dominated mid, but the skill level of the other team was questionable considering it was 3v5 and we still won.

Yeah, I think going mid with valla makes the most sense. With her range she can push/hold lane against any hero and with her escape it is easy to avoid ganks in mid. And I'm not a fan of this, but often times I see ppl force their specialist to solo mid and valla wrecks specialists besides maybe zagara if they are decent. I feel like specialists should be in one of the other lanes w/ someone so you actually get to benefit from their pushing a wall down. If they go solo mid and can't push then they are losing in xp and are disadvantaged in team fights by having a specialist.
I don't really care for Valla mid, personally. She has vault which is great but she can easily die if the gankers have any form of CC. She also doesn't have the greatest gank potential around. She can land some good damage with a simple W/Q combo but has no real way of securing a kill. If she has to vault aggro to secure the kill she generally has to eat some tower damage which kill almost kill her or she exposes herself to vaulting into the mysterious unknown with her low HP pool. She is a competent wave clearer with her W build but I find her best laning elsewhere so she doesn't have to worry about ganks from multiple directions.
Usually I prefer my mids to be tanky, ungankable and have gank potential. Like I'd prefer to have an Arthas, Kerrigan, Zeratul, Muradin in that lane to a Valla. But it all depends on your comp and the enemy comp as well. And which lane people take doesn't matter in this game since solo CS means nothing.

Putting a tank in mid lane would require coordination you most likely won't find in a pug, especially if you're playing at lower mmr. They are going to get out pushed by any ranged hero and have to hide behind the wall making them unable to leave for a gank. Chances of a pug giving you a gank in that situation are unlikely. I think putting a zeratul or kerrigan mid is just wrong, they are heroes that should be roaming the entire game, not soaking mid for extended periods. It also makes no sense to say you don't like valla mid because of ganked potential and at the same time say put kerrigan there when she has no escape. Valla has increased movement speed w/ hatred and vault making it a lot more difficult to gank her than I think you're giving her credit for.
