Rumors floating around about possible new wave of invites for this game on the 15th. Anyone confirm?

Closed beta officially starts the 13th. It makes sense they'd add people then or shortly after.

Thank god free Anub week is over. There's a bug with anub's animations and Radeon cards where he 100% causes glitches during matches and can cause complete game lockups. Pretty much happens 100% of the time if I have youtube running on the other monitor and forget to close it when anub pops up.

New respect for Murky. Saw him a ton this past few days and very impressed with him. Had one guy who put an egg in the mines and was able to scoop a ton of skulls when the golem went down.

anyone on right now wanna get some games in? also what do you guys think about this weeks heros, what should I give a shit? I like lili because support is fun, but I wanna try something different, eh nevermind its nothing but melee warriors and 1 ranged assassin, melee dosent seem to be fun really and I heard a lot of stuff like nova got really nerfed guess im sticking with support on lili

We had a "support" Nova playing with us yesterday. All this person did was act as mobile vision. They were constantly stealthed and barely ever participated in fights. It was incredibly obnoxious.

I would wait until next week when Closed Beta releases. There was a blue post hinting that they may do weekly sales, not sure if that will include gold or not. Though who knows since Blizzard seems to be uptight bitches about the prices in this game.

Wait for a free week and try him out, he's different as hell. Fun though.

Also worth noting is I think they've mentioned abathur being in line for a rework, along with lili.

Yeah the way Abathur functions I don't know if he can really be balanced properly. He went from being unknown on how to be used to being massively overpowered and is now probably in the most balanced state. But that is true for many specialists I suppose.

When they release skins they usually bundle them with the hero. The hero ends up costing you like $2.

AFAIK they always said Thrall is with Beta, TLV after him then Sylvanas. I never heard of either TLV of Sylvanas prior to beta.

Jaina bundle is $15, so that is $5. Winter bundle is $30 so you get Jaina for free, 2 skins, and a mount. That is if you were wanting to pay $30 for 4 things. I mean, you could buy half a AAA game for that price or a full indie game or two.

Though I realize you weren't arguing if it was too much or not, but its hard not to think about how the prices are EA-esque.
