Astronautalis has been making quite a few appearances on Doomtree albums and concerts lately. Brought him to my attention years too late. This guy is right in my wheelhouse. If you are in Minnesota, AstroSims2 is in a couple of weeks.#AstroSims 2 | Doomtree

This is the first rap band that I'm genuinely excited about in 10+ years. Apparently they started in 2010, became critical darlings, got a major label deal, got kicked off said label, released 5 albums, were supposed to tour with NiN, and broke up all within a span of 4 years.

Did a search and saw some discussion in the Yeezus thread, and I agree Kanye absolutely was influenced by their style. But these guys do it way, way better imho.

This is pretty great. I think I like the remix better.
