Hollow Knight: Silksong

I’m enjoying it but not impressed with the small swarm rooms and frustrating run backs, especially the Hunter’s March swarm encounter. And of course it’s got several unskippable flying mobs and those bouncy flower platforming bits zzz

This game is huge. So many optional areas and bosses. I’m currently bashing my head against savage beastfly over lava. Might work on the nail upgrade quest first (seems to be three upgrades) as it’s such a bullshit fight when he can fly off screen and god help you if you just jumped and he’s in your lane moving faster than you can say “bullshit,” if you know what I mean?

I’m enjoying the game for sure, but I couldn’t in good conscience recommend this game universally. It takes a certain kind of masochist (possibly also required: degenerate) to appreciate a ball buster like Silksong.
