Saw the first 2....precious minutes that i will never get it back. Pg-13 shaky cam battle royale knock off.

But in this 3rd, does she finally kill someone? Or she is again babystting crying face peeta?

Jlaw....just stick to nudes and probably, who knows, maybe you will get into porn!
Spoilered in case anyone plans on seeing it.

She took out two planes with a single explosive tip arrow. One of the planes crashed into a big smoke stack that fell and probably killed a ton of people she was trying to help.

Peeta tries to kill her toward the end, which almost makes it worth watching just for that.

It's at 66% on Rotten Tomatoes and 64% with the Top Critics so it doesn't seem that most people hate it as much as those posting in this thread.
Depends who is reviewing it and what their stake in the series is.

For a man who has not read the books but slightly tolerated the movies, it was awful. I tolerated them because while there was teen romance (even though she's like 30?) there was at least some action and plot progression. In this movie there was barely any action (you saw it in the trailer) and basically nothing. A whole lot of propaganda video creation and Jlaw and president dude jerking off at each other. The ending was dumb and it pissed me off.

At least with the Hobbit, Peter Jackson is filling the screen with action and interesting story - this seemed like nothing actually progressed the entire movie.

I was dragged into this and I was pissed.

The only upside was wife agreed to a Sunday early morning show and it only cost $5/ticket.

she's 24 now, 22 when she did the first movie. Thor's brother is also 24, so not really a difference, i mean imagine a real 17 yr playing the role, it'd actually be worse.

Wasn't the third book terrible to begin with?
Even people that really liked the first two books tended to hate the last book. I wasn't a huge fan of the first 2 books myself, but the third book made me quit a third of the way through and I only finished after a friend kept bugging me. It is dreadful.

She's old enough to get cum on her face and that's all that matters to me
People keep bringing up that pic from the fappening. She did a ton of T&A shots, but that one was proven not to be her pretty much as soon as it was released.

Sorry to burst your fappedreams.

The first two were at least somewhat entertaining. Not masterpieces by any means, but fun summer movies for all ages.

This one really was a nothing movie. I've never even picked up any of the books, so I have no idea how long any of them are in terms of page count, but I could just tell they were clearly stretching things out to milk the franchise. I hated it with harry potter, but it was at least somewhat understandable considering the book was like 800 pages or some shit, and there was enough going on that it only slightly sucked to have it end on a cliffhanger.

This one wasn't even a cliffhanger, there was no real arc to the movie at all.

Not to mention, wtf is wrong with her character? She's like the epitome of an overly emotional and irrational woman for the first 30 minutes of the movie. "I hate you! You didn't save peeta as well, even though it's totally understandable and I should be lucky that you even got me out, but I'm still going to hate you more then the people who put him into this in the first place! wait.. what's this? Oh, that's right.. the capitol is actually evil and killed everyone I know. lol, I keep forgetting, my bad! I'll totes be the face of your covergirl campaign."
ANY sane person would either want nothing to do with the way due to fear, or be royally pissed off enough to dive right into. Her reaction makes absolutely no sense at all.

How were they stretching things out to milk Harry Potter? The books got longer and longer, so they were cutting more and more out of each of them. If they didn't stretch Deathly Hallows out into two movies, it would have been absolutely terrible. I felt like they ended the series on a pretty high note given how much of a fucking hackjob the Order of the Phoenix and Half-Blood Prince movies were.

I have not watched it, nor do I plan to, but it sounds like perfect teenage girl logic. Which is basically the target audience. So it was probably perfectly written. I remember she was doing that in the second one as well. We're not really talking about a deep examination.

Some of the comments about Lawrence make it sound like she did not win an academy award and two golden globes...

She did though and is without a doubt an amazing actress.

Always felt like this series would have been a lot more legit with an R rating. Obviously with the demographic this was created for it would never ever happen. Can't decide if i'm going to waste 90 minutes of my life on this one.

Do you know who also won an academy award? Gwyneth Paltrow and Halle Berry.

The academy awards, like so many awards, is pure politics. And she won in the most sappiest, corniest, most cliche romantic/comedy movie ever. She did a better job in American Hustle.

Did she win for hunger games?

Because if she did... she's not good in hunger games. Maybe she's the second best part of the movie. And it's not a good movie to begin with. Donald Sutherland completely phoning it in is probably the best part.

Not that I'm saying she's awful. That movie is not really the platform to showcase anyone's talents besides for the costume department and cinematographer.
