You just can't help being a shit-eating cumstain of a dumbass neckbeard, can you? After you resolve this the last thing you want to do is start a war with people dumber than you. Hint: They will do something stupid likeATTEMPTING TOmurder you, but instead getting some double-aught to the face as he tries to break down your door.
This is why God invented shotguns.

STFU you pussy ass, lets see pics of the trailer park stripper!!!

I'd text him back saying "I don't deal with ex convict registered sex offenders, the police will be in touch with you". I know he's not a sex offender, but it will piss him off, which would be hilarious.

What color is the car? Would also be fun to be like "hey you can have the car back, I left it at *address* with the keys in it" along with a random pic from google, like:

Also, you still never answered why the hell you couldn't find something through a dealership, or finance some econobox with your 10K as a down payment? Is your credit totally trashed?
Sure I did, from the first page "I'm not usually dumb. My credit has to be outstanding at this point, and the reason I didn't want to get a loan is because I worked so hard to get out of debt. Finally achieved that this Feburary, took like 7 years of putting any extra money towards payments to get completely out, and other than my mortgage, I told myself I wasn't going to do any debt again if I could help it." So yeah, I could probably go get a loan for an 80k car if I wanted, I just don't want to, I'd rather keep my money, or give it away to crackheads apparently.

I'm out for the next 36 hours!

Should have gotten a loan. Was all this hassle worth the 10k in debt? Also carrying debt and paying on time will improve your credit rating, or at least keep it high. Shoulda woulda coulda I suppose. Get a lawyer.

Ok, my bad. But FFS there are decent used cars you can finance that aren't $80k, wtf who can afford an $80k car in these trying times brother? How about a $20k car with your $10k down? Or a $15k car with $10k down? IDK, I think you're just cheap as shit. I understand not wanting a monthly payment I guess, and everything else you did wrong was stated. My apologies for skimming the thread, but there's still no reason you shouldn't have just gone to a dealer.

you can get a sweet daily driver for well under 10 grand. from a dealer. you dont even need to bring cash, just deposit your cash in your checking account and pay with the debit card. why the hell are you walking around vegas with that much cash anyway? nobody should have more than a hundred bucks in their wallet at any given time.

Does anyone have any advice on what the OP should have done in the past or an opinion on whether or not he is stupid? Just curious.

Also, dealerships suck ass. There's a reason used car salesmen are one of the least trusted professions. You will usually get a better deal private treaty and the dealership is no less likely to lie to you about shit than anyone else. I have bought every used car I have owned out of the classified ads and never had a bad experience. That said, you should try to avoid doing any sort of business with meth heads like the people you bought this car from if at all possible.

If you were so strapped for cash, why did you buy aJurassic Parkcar? Are those the wheels you purchased? The prices don't add up, sir.

For posterity and those too lazy to look at the link:

Ha, I just bought this last week for $1,300. Saw it on craigslist and couldn't stop laughing. Sorry for the shitty blurred picture, handed a guy my phone to take it.

It's pretty funny, even has the hula girl inside, and a Jurassic Park number 14 vehicle id pass hanging from the rearview mirror. You can't see in the picture, but it has the black truck push bars on the front. All it needed were new tires $400, and it was good to go.

So hard not to go "DUH DUH - duh duh DUHHHH - duhduh DUH - DUHDUHDUH DUH!!!!!" (Jurassic Park theme song) as I drive around in it. Tons of honks and thumbs up as well, my sons love the thing. Still thrilled about it.

None of this adds up and since I consider myself smarter than OP I'm going to say it's all false.

Advice - If a transaction deviates from the original plan FOR ANY REASON turn around and walk away. Unless your the OP and just spent the last 7 years climbing out of debt then by all means throw 7 years at some random bitch behind a pawn shop alley with your wife and kids looking on.

Still think its false though.

Craigslist ad? Better bring my wife and children.
Oh you cant meet at the bank? Better to meet behind a pawn shop. In Vegas.
Brother is a "detective".
Can't find any good cars under $10,000. Better to buy a $1300 pick-up-truck from Jurassic Park.
