Not sure whether to put this in lossporn or just post it here for shame. These were bad picks. :/

Euro is sliding against the ruble and usd both. Looks like companies are planning to pay in rubles despite the G7 claims. Might be a good time to start for the vacation in Eastern Europe of your dreams. Don’t forget the sunblock.
Don't forget how much they gained against the ruble previously. What was the Jan 1 ratio vs today?

It was more a comment that Europe seems to be willing to sacrifice its economy to annoy Russia a little. If the trend lines continue, it won’t be pretty. It’s a sacrifice I am also willing to make, but I’d be scared of investing heavily in companies with a European focus atm.

This thread has never been a good resource for research, but is a great resource for suggesting you do it, lol.

Do you have access to Galileo or university library resources?

You might have to use a report like IBIS World Reports or something more dialed in and look into each REIT individually. I'm sure their financial disclosures talk about them. Maybe you could take your top 3 picks and look at their disclosures?
Yeah, I agree, this is the only kind of approach I can see right now. Not an efficient way to ask the question unfortunately, going one by one to finally make a sortable list.

The investing information space is weird to me. The kinds of information I expect to find in searchable databases is not readily available, or I just suck at searching through all the ads masquerading as articles. I dunno, maybe its an inevitable limitation because of the financial interests involved, because surely I'm not the first person who wished this kind of information about investments was available in databases instead of manually researching each fund one by one.

I mean, in this case my question doesnt involve some kind of proprietary secret shit that either the funds or the other investors would want to keep a secret, would it? (simply a list of which REITs hold the most property in each state) Maybe I am missing something completely about why so little information is available in searchable database form for this investing shit. Maybe opaqueness is a feature?

TWTR market cap is $31.321b
50.01% of the company would be $15.69b assuming all those shares could be bought at the current price (and it cant).
Current Musk Net Worth is $289.4b
Percent of net worth to buy controlling interest in the company: 5.4%

It'd be easier for him to start his own. Problem with buying it is all the people already working there have drunken the kool aid. He'd have to fire most of them and rebuild the team, which at that point why not just start from scratch.

Because user adoption is way harder than you're assuming in this scenario.

For anyone else that'd be an issue, Musk is able to move markets with a single message
So is Trump. The problem with Truth is its showing that writing a Twitter clone isnt as easy and quick as some people thought.
