Diamonded handed nvda for 15 months, from 271 down to 110 or whatever it fell to late summer 2022.

Sold all but 1 share at 383.50. $65000 profit.

2022 was not a fun year. Lost $6000 or so when i had to sell some nvda to cover my 2021 taxes.

I can't believe I did this with META and then again 1 quarter later with NVDA.

Friend of mine sent me this as a consolation:

So what happens to Savings Bonds in the case of a default? I bought some I series bonds through TreasuryDirect a few months ago, Series I because the interest rate was nearly 7%. If there is an actual default, what happens to bond holders?
There will be no default, receipts far exceeds debt service. So even if they don't raise and for a long ass time it still wouldnt matter and there would be no default. From a more fundamental level there can't be a default, (other than on the debt held by the Fed which would just be more accounting voodoo). If the govt defaults on its debt nobody will lend them the money needed to fund the govt. The govt defaulting in any meaningful way would be the end of the US Fed govt as we know it. When you control the printing press there is no such thing as default.

Maybe buy Mist Mist a gold pass as a consolation prize.

If anything put some money into my house. Could really use some insulated windows or really a new AC.

Bought a 4080 yesterday as a preemptive offering to the AI gods.

Make sure you put enough aside to cover your tax on it.

From Bloomberg:
Traders are now fully pricing in another quarter-point interest rate increase by the Federal Reserve within the next two policy meetings and a more than one-in-two chance that it could be as soon as next month. The shift came as US rates rose across the board.
