Crude surging due to hops of increased demand in the near future. USO got out just in time. I wonder if the rally today is just more NAV disconnect. Will be interesting to see what happens with 2 weeks still until settlement.

Looking at technicals, we are 45 days out from the March 23 low. So in another 5 days pretty much every stock's 50 day moving average should bottom and start trending up again as that day gets wiped off the track.

Also June crude popped again last night. Up about 10%. Be very careful playing this bounce. As with last month, there is still no place to store this shit and as we get closer to contract expiration I think we might see another big sell-off as people realize there is no place to put it and play the hot potato game with the contracts.

Market continues to have every opportunity to sell off some but doesn't. Yesterday's sell off into the close and continued drop into the evening was a perfect bear setup to put some pressure on today and here we are back at yesterday's morning highs.

Yields are slowly working higher gold is in decline, both point to an increasing risk appetite.

It really is a battle between the bad news and how much money the fed can print. In Germany, apparently a judge told their central bank equivalent (ECB) that it better stop breaking the law within a few months. Could turn into a disaster here if a judge told the fed to stop breaking the law similarly, lol. Thankfully, I think all the judge offices are closed for now, so laws are kinda moot.

I sold some puts on PFE. $34 strike, May 22 expiry. Trades ex-div today and figure a decent chunk sold it after the dividend capture. If it gets exercised I get the stock at $33.77 with 4.5% dividend yield which I am fine with.

Payroll processing firms that cover a large part of the US release data earlier in the week. It's considered a strong indicator for unemployment, but official data comes out Friday.

The official number excludes people who say they aren't looking for work. Expect the TrumpUBI to make the likely worst unemployment report ever look rosier than it actually is.

Blazin Blazin Needs some help. There is a SPAC formed for the purpose of a merger/acquisition (VTIQ). Going to merge/acquire Nikola. I have read the 10K but not clear on how the shares will be converted once it completes this month. It reads the Nikola will be a wholly owned subsidiary of VectoIQ. Can you provide some guidance on how this stuff works if you know.
