DJIA getting ripped. BA dragging down the industrials on the Dreamliner delays. I have an order in to grab a starter position in BA at $211. I will also add to ABBV at $107.
Probably good to see some froth being bled out in an orderly way.

Back at the desk, but obviously not seeing a ton catching my eye. I have orders in on ABBV and VZ just below their current levels. Watching to see if we can get some short term weakness to set in. Nice jump in vix but would like it over 20 to start selling puts.

Done day trading Tesla today, lost .15%. Not sure what's up with TD Ameritrade, but my orders are executing real slow today, and they can't find any shares to short on Tesla now. Never seen such poor execution since I've been doing this since Feb. 7 or 8 trades have executed late or not all, I'm done today unless I have a clear shot.

And I just found out I had a friend die to covid, so I'm probably not in the mood to trade well.

I would be cautious as Biden announced he is speaking tomorrow to outline a "6-point plan to attack Delta". Dont be surprised if he announces some insane shit to distract from Afghanistan. And of course we now have the "dangerous" Mu variant that is "immune to antibodies".

tldr - Aint no such thing as a sure bet.

These are trades, I won't be in them long term. I'm not the only one believing it, market is down and I'm up 1% (due to my swing trades on the recovery).

Covid cases are declining, I expect a rally here in recovery stocks. Joe's not going to be locking down anything, his approval rating is the same as Trump right now. Dems will lose big time if they lock down in the midterms. Not worried about Mu until I see data that says I should be.

I have had to force myself on multiple pullbacks not to buy more. Combined with my stake in FTEC AAPL is my largest single holding (besides FTEC) and I force myself to obey my weight restrictions. I am about 8% weight in both AAPL and MSFT. If the market keeps running I can see myself having to trim at year end if they keep this pace up.
