Bought 80 shares of the sqqq, figure I'm in the habit of losing money lately so fuck it. I figured the fed won't save the market and people are too scared to buy the dip.

Just out of curiosity, why go short now? Unless you are predicting a long term market downturn it seems like the horse has left the barn. Indexes are at 200 DMA and "should" be bouncing off support. Granted they may not but you also have the big dogs coming into earnings (AAPL, MSFT, GOOG etc) reporting. It just seems like an odd time to be starting a short.

Granted you may be 100% right on the call.

Its risky no doubt but i think msft and apple won't put up enough gains to save the qqq from paypal and netflix.

My hope is enough get margin called that they have no choice.
