Just had a remote screening interview with a very pretty eastern European lady with a heavy accent. Slightly more technical than most screenings I've had lately, but it was interesting. Definitely up my alley in that they are trying to sell SIP products. Tech support job, decent pay. Hopefully I make it to technical round.

From what I read this is an example of getting spitroasted. They have a deal with anthropic to route all their AI shit through their own datacenters, at least partially.

I've always been impressed with how little instagram and facebook and whatsapp actually do and yet somehow require 100,000+ employees doing something. Like what could they possibly be doing?

Didn't meta say some time ago they were making fake people for facebook to like peoples shit and up interaction and such. May be all AI now, but someone had to come up with that to begin with.

They have to process a lot of data. I can't imagine how complex it must be to process and present an ever growing pool of data.

It's come way off its highs, but I've never understood how META's stock is valued so high. Are they really making that much ad revenue from Facebook and Instagram?
