I think he means the Pantheon in Rome. Being turned into a church probably saved it from being razed. One of the best sights in Rome imo, it's really, really old but not a ruin, but is also structurally largely original. There's something about gazing at a domed roof that's been there for nearly 2000 years.

It’s the fact that the dome is one solid piece that blew my mind. I was looking for seams and couldn’t find any and it was tripping me the fuck out. Got back to our hotel room, opened up a search, and yeah that dome is one solid piece weighing close to 5000t.

Fucking unreal what they used to do, blows the mind.
