I had the very first one long ago, and then a 5 years later that I did code work on. Why do you ask?

soimetghsdfhngn more brownlkWow I am stupid. I grabbed my mum's phone to try it and when I got the cable out, it is ordinary usb on one end.

I am typing this with it. I shall no longer correct mistakes henceforth.

I am, very happy that the keys are sinethru, bnut i was unabnle toi find the apostrophe or quotes. No idea where they stucvk them, The switcvhes are quite bnut feel a bit squidgy and bottom ou t fast. I thihnjk I will want

oops I think I must have hit some control keys or something above.

Anyway I will probably swap out the switches for something tactile, but these keycaps are not bad, will likely keep them. Totally was not expecting shine thru keys.

One downside is the F and J don't have the little homing bump on them. Kind of miss that. My cheap ass amazon the J one is almost worn off.

BTW the reason I thought the cable was usb-c to usb-c is because I looked up an ebay listing and the cable in the pictures was just that. So I ordered one from amazon earlier, oops.

I tried some coding and the default layout just doesn't even have any of the -_=+{}[]`~ type stuff you need for coding.

Flashed it with this, only 2 layers:



The recycle thing on the backspace cycles through all the RGB animations. I'll eventually change those.

The arrow key funcs are up and down on the RGB brightness, and the bike slows down the animation and the motorcycle speeds it up.

Will my demented elderly brain be able to memorize this? I shall find out in the next few days, for tonight it is almost time to watch boys with bowlcuts murder each other in a videogame awhilst beautiful maidens cheer them on from the audience.

I may end up needing a function key on the left side of the spacebar (that upright arrow is my func). () are easy to hit but you have to move far off home row.
