Not sure why you're having a problem. My only suggestion is if you're using a VPN, disable it. I never have problems connecting.

I have no VPN or anything of the sort. I am using Vivaldi, and I have no viruses or malware or anything. I use ublock origin, which blocked the site and then when I clicked proceed, it redirects me to the site you see in the screenshot below and should not go to.

Finished Path of Ascension 4, enjoyed it quite a bit
After reading several of these types of "zero to god" stories I find it interesting to see how authors make the universe work without gods just extinguishing everything. In Cradle, super powerful beings are forced to ascend, and are then monitored by the interstellar police that are somewhat altruistic. In DotF, the "system" keeps everything in check in order to produce strong godlike beings. In the Divine Dungeon universe there is a system that just tries to make everything fun. In Primal Hunter, planets regularly get btfo but the protagonist is kind of protected from it.
Path of Ascension sets up an interesting system where the emporer of the faction the protagonist is part of has a unique talent that lets him copy other people's talents, but only at the level they have it at. So after becoming emperor he pushes for a society that maximizes the number of heroes that level on their own, aka the Path of Ascension, which is neat.
I guess there are 6 more but:

is pretty accurate after the 4th book. The hero has an absurdly strong ability, so from book 1 they are followed and protected by godlike beings. I kind of want to get spoiled and find out if in those six books there is a huge calamity that gives room for the protagonist to become a hero. Basically the destruction or ascension of all the old monsters, and then the introduction of a bunch of brutal dictators the hero has to fight against to bring peace back. But I don't think that happens, so I'm done with it for now.
