my life is pretty good not having watched Secret Invasion, Echo, She Hulk, etc

i'll add this to that pile of "nope", but maybe someday i'll watch if people say its fun. I more or less liked the new Daredevil season.

I always forget Echo and secret invasion existed
Secret Invasion is trash. Echo was just meh. The changes to her character ruined it imo. Although she is basically just a deaf Taskmaster in the comics.

I don't understand how Trevor (Ben Kingsley) is not in prison.

He was convicted in Ironman 3 of terroristic activities, which carry a pretty hefty sentence, and then escaped as part of the jailbreak wherein 2 guards were shot in the head that the actual mandarin orchestrated in the short film All Hail the King.

Somehow he's not just back to work as an actor in full public, applying for jobs, and not concerned one bit about the U.S. Marshalls picking him up and sending him back to prison with an even longer, consecutive, sentence for Violent Escape from Prison as well as probably felony murder in the commission of a felony. That's not even getting into RICO for all of the crimes when he was a self-proclaimed participant in the 10 rings criminal enterprise.

Maybe in the MCU all the Hollywood writers became lawyers instead and work for the DOJ with the same skill and career acumen.

“The big thing about the script was … this thing called The Ritual of Eight … when a prince is eight years old, he has to go spend eight eight days in the bush with his father…They have to go into the bush … without any tools. … And the prince … has to listen and do everything that's asked of him by his father. But the rule is for those eight days, the prince can ask the father any question and the father has to answer….And during the course of those during the course of those eight days, Namor launches an attack….That was what the movie was.”

I can see why Disney would not want to go the child soldier route and avoid attempting to cast an 8 year old for such a storyline.
