Whole lot of rumors that Cavil is signing on for a recurring mutant role. Any guesses?

omega red, a mutant who emits toxic spores. would fit perfectly since henry cavill is box office poison for any franchise he is in

semi kidding, i think he's a great actor who was perfect for superman but he does seem to have super bad luck in picking projects

Remember that episode of SG1 where Daniel is like partially ascended and in that dinner with that friendly dude that ends up being Anubis? I wouldn't be surprised if they do something similar here: an inherently evil entity that shows a different side that you can sympathize with or relate to more, but the end goal is to have Vision align with Ultron
If you watch the trailer apparently a big portion of the movie happens "inside Vision's mind" where he has a virutal house, with people representing apparently different system processes, all looking like humans, including Vision himself (I'm sure Paul Bettany thanks God for that favor). Since he was "descended" from both the original JARVIS and Ultron they are both represented inside. It shows him as the Ultron Robot, and when Vision sees him he gives him the firm but polite British style reminder "Ultron.. HUMAN avatars only!" and his switches to look essentially like Raymond Reddington, but with my beard and hairline...

I am moderately intrigued and will probably check it out. Which makes it an absolute FIRST for Disney+ Marvel series.

He's literally going to be in the first X-Men movie they make. Expect the kind of build-up Hale Berry's joke about toads struck by lightning got in X-Men 1.

Driver repeatedly turned them down until it was something interesting for him. And he likes weird shit. I expect him to stick around.

Henry Cavill is already mid-40s. They need to start thinking about a younger cast to take over these roles they plan to use for decades.
I could see it. If they're going for X-men in their 20's, and Xavier and Magneto need to be a generation older, then 40's fit. Right now they need to focus on "Let's make one really kick ass Xmen movie to get people back into this the Marvel Machine, then MAYBE a Trilogy". Anybody at Disney/Marvel trying to pitch planning on actors for "decades" needs to get on better meds.
