I loved the original Dragon Age, and to be honest I got an hour or so entertainment out of Veilguard. I didn't buy it, just laughed at the Youtubers tearing it apart.
My only concern, is that all these self-inserting morons will A) continue their shit lifestyle and B) somehow get hired on to a new studio.
How long will it take this problem to self correct fully? Who fucking knows.

I think it is long passed anyone of actual business sense doesn't understand why their products are failing. So that leads me to believe it is purposely being done and continues because these companies are being funded somewhere for messaging purposes. If you look at Marxism in its entirety, one of the core tenants is to capture education. Along with that, mainstream media and entertainment. I think at this point video games is one of those channels to target. There just can't be any other reason at this point. Revenue is in free fall and the dollar losses are astronomical for games like Veilguard lost $150 million easily, Suicide Squad lost $200 million, IP's like God of War, Spiderman, and Horizon saw huge hits in sequel units sold by around 40-45% from the previous units - which is unheard of. Gotham Knights lose $50 million. Star Wars Outlaws lost $100 million. Concord $200 million. In literally the last 2 years we are talking over a billion dollars in losses easily (And that's generous - it's much more than that) and this has been going on for quite some time.
There just isn't anything else as to the why this is happening when putting two and two together at this point.
So I would bet all these people get rehired somewhere and it continues. Somewhere along those lines we will see independents who actually rely on sales and are not back funded except by early access by customers, continue to create decent games without political ideology.

So is that some sort of hail mary leak to get audiences to get the game back in production?
Like the Deadpool trailer was "leaked" and the audience reaction caused the studio to greenlight the movie.
If so, that didn't do it for me. In order to get excitement from me it would need to push way more into the lore of Shepard. To make a point that the game was a continuation of that version so to speak, and not Andromeda. Have Liara do the voiceover of the trailer, "It's been X amount of years.... we still rebuild" hints at the Reapers, etc. Then on to something like "but there are still people that can make a difference" then sequences of a characters actions (not face, since it's "your" character). Maybe also hinting about going to or interacting with stories tied to ME1-3.
Other than what I assume is Liara there, everything other than the races, felt very generic. I think most people who loved ME1-3 want a contiunation of that and let Andromeda be a fever dream that didn't really happen.

I remembered I bought Andromeda , but not where. Thankfully GOG's Galaxy loader has my entire library and I found I bought it on Origin. But there isn't an Origin anymore, so I had to load an EA loader (sigh) to find out , yes I do 'own' it, played it almost a decade ago and I recall exactly jack shit about it. I actually recall not being able to figure out why there were rose bushes in space?! WTF.

I looked , it was $30 odd on Steam last night. I bought the main 3 ME's and the extras for 2 and the epic super duper maximum this time with everything special edition when it came out in 2021? nope no more cash on this.
