Yeah the only one's I'd definitely suspend are the repeat offenders who show up every one of these lists.

Everyone else is just going to appeal and won't have to miss games until next season at best.

The thing is though there's no hard proof, they would be suspending them on suspicion. That seems kinda lame to me.

MLB has the strongest union out there. There is no way any of this goes down anytime soon. Appeals will be going on for years if it even gets that far. To many deep pockets for this to stick on the word of Bosh.

That said I hope all these guys fry. Especially Braun and Arod. Why can't George Steinbrenner be alive for this. Look at what he pulled on Mr May, who was making a fraction what Arod is making. He would have done anything to get out from under that awful contract.

suggestions for MLB to prevent baseball from becomming antiquated:

1. reduce the game to 7 innings
2. institute a pitch timer
3. eliminate the DH from the AL

Reducing the game to seven innings would suck balls, but it is a bummer that the entire MLB is going to go this route. Fuck the DH.

id give your left testicle for 7 inning games. suddenly i'm not up til 11:30 on weekdays watching the ass end of a meaningless fucking april through september game.

suggestion 4: reduce the season to 100 games.

7 Innings I am not on board with.

Pitching timer would be nice along with limiting the batter on how many times they can step out of the box.

Also eliminate when a new pitcher comes in having to wait for him to throw for 5 minutes before the game resumes. He was throwing in the bullpen for 20 minutes, he doesn't need to pratice anymore.

Getting rid of the DH would be stupid. Watching pitchers try to hit is boring as fuck and not worth the occasional extra bit of strategy that pinch hitting or bunting gets you.

I like the number of games personally. But we do indeed run into the problem of game number #79 being no more important than game number #113 and I get that.

Maybe they could eliminate all 2 game and 4 game series and make them all a 3 game series and establish a point system like in hockey. Split win a series and it's 1 point, sweep a series and it's 3 points? I dunno...I just like the length of the season and would hate to see less games but at least under a system kinda like that then individual games matter more.

Could do two seasons a year like a reality show. Two times the playoffs? At least it'd keep it interesting.

Both Champions play a series after for the Years World Series Crown. (have to think of what to do if the same team wins lol)

Umpires are not required to call time out when the batter steps out, it's quite hilarious when the pitcher notices this and gets a free strike.
