“I could be wrong about that but the reason I say it is first off, Tony has always had an adversarial relationship with certain people with the UFC. He’s felt like he’s been held back, cheated in certain things. And so you have that. That’s okay, you can say those things when you’re winning."

I feel like we've seen Dana do this dirty shit before. He'll be in talks with a party and going through negotiations, and then say something vague like "Well, we've been talking, and I don't think they're interested". So my gut feeling is that they tried some lowball shit that Roses camp refused. And now they're using that rejection as grounds for saying 'she's not interested', and tossing out Carla Esparza, as a way to put more pressure on Rose so they can get the best deal for the UFC as possible.

Yup, at this point it makes no sense. That is a fight that would have been great a couple years ago, although Israel may not have been ready at that point.

This was a great UFC to round out my first year watching the sport. My woman was really amped up when we were watching this one, too. She said she's adding a PPV expense to the house budget ;)

Aldo reportedly made
$400k/$100k win over Edgar
$400k for 1st loss to Holloway
$200k for 2nd loss to Holloway
$200k/$100k for wins over J Stevens and Renato Moicano
$110k for loss to Volkanovski
$400k for losses to Moraes and Yan

if he gets his 4th L in a row against Vera who is ranked 15th, he would certainly have to be on the cut list. then again could let him ride it out like BJ

Crazy to see Aldo's fall from the top be so fast. Other than the Hardy fight, this card seems meh.

Stoked to watch Wonderboy! I don't know why he is my favorite fighter, but I love that dude. I think it's his unique style, awesome attitude, and baller ass walkout song.
