----
overall heaviest fighter won 7, lost 4 with 1 tie
with more than a pound, heaviest was 5 and 1

doesn't really mean anything
seems odd that rogan-dc didn't have this info, but rogan was right when he said simon and jackson were over 150

Yeah. They kept harping that Cejudo cut so much weight and he was a bigger man than MM, etc, but he weighed less and cut less by these numbers.

Cejudo looked ripped in this fight. One of the commentators mentioned he spent 2 separate weeks at UFC PI to work on his weight, and he definitely looked that way. In his past fights, he's had that DC blubbery wrestler look to him.

Seeing Cody @ just 142, same as the 125'ers, was a bit of a shock to me. TJ was definitely bigger, Cody didn't use his smaller size to be fast like he used to; wonder if he was injured again, or if he'll look to gain 5-10 pounds of muscle.

Also for a card without any obvious big guys, 75% coming in "overweight" is interesting.

It actually isnt a bad cast. Joe kind of rashes on that overweight trainer dude as he asks him if he is in to strength and conditioning as well as training fighters, why is he still fat? The guy laughs it off, and Joe then goes on to say "well it is the elephant in the room...." LOL. Sick burn.

I think that Kirian guy or whatever his name is, is knowledgeable though. He isnt the most entertaining guest, or speaker, but he makes some good assessments. He does seem a bit self serving at times, but I like that Gaston kid. Fighting in 3 combat sports at the same time is fucking tough. But it will help him a lot in his MMA career, having that Thai kickboxing exp.

"I think TJ came out smart" Throw the same hook repeatedly in the same stance without moving until Cody agrees to be knocked out.

I don't think it is worth the time. The Kirian guy really comes off as a snake oil salesman. Joe must have some history with the guy (or he just has a reputation), because he is not very gracious towards the guy at all. Maybe Joe just wanted Gaston to come on and Kirian said, "he is not coming on without me." Kirian does sound like a bit of a manipulative, self-serving, cult leader at times.

That is an insane turnaround. Hopefully he didn't push it too hard and his knee is healed properly

I've had six knee operations, and I can't imagine coming back to serious MMA training in that timeframe. I've had serious setbacks and re-injuries doing stuff that doesn't even register on the scale of what a pro fighter puts themself through. Those guys are all fucking nuts.
