DC got $4m to fight Lewis. if they want the fight to happen this year would hope Stipe would demand that type of pay out. Stipe would probably not want to fight until March/April.

3 Curtis Blaydes - (won 2, Willis (no longer ranked) and 10 (tied) Abdurakhimov)

5 Derrick Lewis vs 9 Blagoy Ivanov
7 Alistair Overeem vs 10 (tied) Walt Harris
8 Cain Velasquez - knee still not 100%, can only do 1 more wrestling event in Oct per his UFC contract

think Ngannou would take rematch with Blaydes rather than sit till after Stipe/DC. he could get screwed if Stipe wins, as odds are ufc would want stipe vs jones, but if DC wins, He would probably fight Jones for the belt.

don't think anyone else is even close to a title shot
