I have a friend who is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in shoulder replacement. If that's really what Dillashaw got (and not some kind of exotic repair/reconstruction and he's using words sloppily) he'd be a fucking moron to try to fight again. Shoulder replacements are not remotely as good or durable as knee or hip replacements. If you damage them you can get bone necrosis around the prosthetic and then you are completely fucked for the rest of your life. I have another friend who was in a bad motorcycle accident and is in this position. Dillashaw does not want his life.

guess 300 will be mar-apr, chandler's last fight was almost 11 months ago now. sure conor is going to enter the pool soon

edit

Would be April but he's got to get in it soon. Still skeptical Conor will do 6 months of testing based on the fact he's fought it publicly up until this point.

It wasn't a little grumbling, he's completely been opposed to any traditional USADA testing process and made more decisions in that direction than not.

i don't remember it being close, guess have to rewatch

Volk was definitely had the momentum and was winning by the end, though he clearly lost under the 10-point system. (That 49-46 was bullshit, though.) Islam was all banged up and Volk was barely scratched. Under Pride rules he'd have won.

Volk is crazy. Dude was seriously injured in his last fight just three months ago.

If he goes 0-2 what's it look like for a Trilogy with a proper fight camp?

i heard volk constantly trains, so making weight (short call) and rust won't really be a factor, especially against a known opponent, heck he's probably been training to fight the ghost of mahkachev for months.

The card is better now. Both of those replacements create a lot more interesting matchups than before.
