Don't forget the troll SK we saw on RZ with 255 archery he accidentally included in a screenshot with his skill menu open (who even knows what else was under the hood). An entire GM created pvp boss dog.

Another guy was able to abuse the bug to res the same corpse multiple times to 60, get investigated and be allowed to get away with it.

Similarly, P99 of course witnessed multiple nightmares. Their direction for a while was to censor firesofheaven.org from their message boards in one instance (lol!).

GM corruption is classic and it's one of the things I really wish wasn't.

In terms of Vanilla WoW, there were rumors that Death and Taxes had hints from GMs, but they still put in the work of wipe after wipe. Since we were usually 1 to 3 bosses behind DnT they would often give hints of their final strats to a couple of our officers (whom I heard the "rumor" from).

Overt exploits were something different, which probably didn't come from inside leaks, but were instead shared via places like the member only (paid) section of OwnedCore.

While Molten Core had a hard 40 person cap on the zone, for at least the first few months (GM couldn't zone in and watch a 40 man raid as the 41st person), they quickly fixed that. Meaning GMs could/would often watch world first kills/attempts in person (I would guess with multiple people in the Bliz offices). So they would have had a higher chance of getting caught sploiting.

it would be cool to have a 'replay' option to spectate on things like that so that neutral observers could look if curious. but that would ruin the strat hiding. it would also iluminate when one class is balling out of control.

How does 2 boxing work on m%m? Can you just log in 2 guys on the same account at the same time? Wanna pass gear to an alt this test

Besides getting double the Unity Engine memory leak (hopefully fixed), the only real issue I found with 2 boxing is auto-follow being a bit janky, where the non-focused account would run in place unless holding alt-tab or tabbed out of both boxes.

Other than that, unless using a third party program like ISBoxer, you just tab between boxes and click abilities/move. As Del said, one box per account.

It was not a 'perception' of Druids being 'meh'. They were poor performers in group and raid situations except in a very few cases where they could charm a beefy animal (ex. Kael Dire Wolves, Shiverback Gorillas in Plane of Fear).

Druids were not decent pullers either. Even Clerics were superior dungeon pullers to Druids in classic-era EQ. The only classes they were better than were casters and rogues, and I'd even argue Necros were better at it than Druids too. Zero decent groups at the high end invited a Druid to a dungeon group with the intent of having them pull. Harmony was a decent tool outdoors, but high level xp groups in outdoor zones were extremely rare in the classic era.
Bra ill drop a dong on you and snare/root any classic dungeon better than some chode taking 30s to paci a few mobs. like i said, the perception, and you seem victim

Congratulations. You believe Druids can out pull a Cleric. Guess you showed me.

I did the ol ground drop once, durring the first test, then just made a second account as a mule account... to start.

Then I thought, why shouldn't I level a shaman for SoW and heals to duo with. Which lead to "well that works fairly well, why shouldn't I level a mage and druid duel box to have more mules with gate." Granted, none of them are over level 12, but still, I have very high tradeskills (comparatively).

Also, armor is pretty hard to make if you don't have the levels, as all of them require drops. My goal was to make my own armor and weapons but metal armor needs leatherworking, which requires a bunch of leather drops and tailoring requires a ton of cloth/wool/whatever. Most of the Mithril chain (tier 5) is trivial or close to it, but all I can make is copper (tier 1) due to needing out of reach leather for every other tier (which is fine).

Does Tailoring make bags or is it another profession?

Both tailoring and leatherworking now make bags, but I just used 10+ mules instead. At least until the last tests, when I had a little gold to buy bags... then ended up leveling up tailoring through the first tier that same day, so could have made some of them myself.

There is a gnome outside the west gate that will give every mule a 6 slot bag (link) and if you choose enchanting/leatherworking/tailoring as your starting skill, you get another 6 slot bag.
