If you had any hope / desire to do "World First" type stuff in this game better find out which guilds are the ones with GM's counseling them early on because you KNOW there will be some "Oh man, maybe you should check under THAT ROCK OVER THERE" level help from some of the staff.

To me the fun of an MMO is doing something challenging that everyone else is struggling the same way on, no cheesing the shit out of it. Part of the reason Aradune sucked so much, everyone knows the cheese so everyone abuses the cheese.

Part of me says "Sure, finding the chesese is fun" but the reality is that these systems people are cheesing are so basic that it's kinda comical that these "Raiding guilds" have to be told the cheese instead of just figuring it out.

As for EQ...ya, 100% happened in EQ, but with Shawn trying hard to not fall in the same pit that pantheon fell into on that front...it's entertaining to watch.
