My group started Sunken Resort at level 32. We crawled through the dungeon three nights running. I don't think we'd have had the same level of success with a bard as we've had with an enchanter. We needed to recast 1-minute mezzes in the depths of the dungeon, the ethereal corpse and echo of the unfinished stuff was killable but a bit of a stretch for us.
If you guys are in Fallen Watch i guarantee you're using enchanters there and need them. What Daidraco described above lines up with my experiene in FW in beta. Going to a dungeon like Rothold in the middle of the great cavern sea (20+ min swim if you haven't skilled up swimming at all), without a res or without a mez, is probably not a great idea. I absolutely wouldn't take or join a group there without an enchanter. It's too far out and too risky.
Pulling up to a camp in glass flats or fallen pass, breaking it open, and sitting there all-day single pulling doesn't require an enchanter. No doubt about that.
Re: Great Cavern Sea and Caves of Irem loot - yes, this stuff is itemized way above the level required to get it. I'm not sure if they put great loot out there to get people to use the zones, or if it's a total disconnect between the people itemizing those areas and the itemization in places like Upper Saman in FP, all the juicy camps in Glass Flats, etc.
edit: just to be clear, I think the enchanter woes are warranted, and charm was way too strong in beta. Enchanter is just not super satisfying to play. I love stabbing shit on my rogue, pressing those buttons feels good. My brother feels like he's the group facilitator with buffs and mezzes, letting us enjoy our classes while he makes sure we're safe and sound to do so.
