The "my human can't see easily at night by jacking monitor settings" line got crossed and I've not been able to take the rest of the arguing too seriously after that. It's just bullshit.

They have nowhere else to go as everything including p99 wimped out to the casual drool cup crowd. So Id just tell them to get good and make something real.

I just hope the developers make the game they want to make and not just the game the loudest person on the forums wants them to make.

If it's good, people will play it.

If it's not good, people wont play it.

That's kind of the point Kirun was making though. Tons of people don't want this shit, but places like Reddit and Discord cultivate the idea that everyone wants terrible gameplay mechanics. They're going to alienate their potential audience because the most vocal people are morons.

This forum is probably the only place they're going to get valuable feedback, and from the way Shawn has talked about it, they think we're just trolling them and not trying to fix their game for them.

Alright buddy I've had it up to here with you. You are not one of the posters giving good feedback like Kirun and Quaid, you are continually complaining about how the game isn't for you and you hate playing it. Feedback is valuable from people who actually like the game and have suggestions on how to improve it (and Quaid is on the record for saying he actually likes the game), you do not like the game at all so your opinions on it are ones that the team definitely shouldn't listen to.

I don't actually give feedback anymore outside of agreeing with the other posters. I gave up on this game a while ago because it's not fun at all.

a lot of these shit elements people complain about (mostly being time wasters - which i agree with) have no problems existing in other non-mmo type genres - so why cant obvious time wasters work here?

ill spend a week on a base in Ark and some 24/7 playing chinaman will wipe me and ill start over from scratch, 100% wasted, but i yearn for more... but yea when i look at this and consider the time wasters (aka a running simulator) i shun and dont want to play lol; havent tried alpha though so idk if i would like it

So this came out to less than 1 dkp a day and most of the raid mobs are worth between 10 and 25 from a quick scan.

I saw this happen with Rift and Trion Worlds. The invasions were awesome and challenging, and could take over towns that you'd have to clear to save and be able to use vendors or turn in quests again. Take a wild ass guess about the kind of angry spam of drivel I saw about how we have to ruin this game cuz someone "doesn't have the time" to make a group and take a town back (they hate organizing, trying or meaningful experiences).

Have fun trying to convince anyone reading you're serious about MMOs and shouldn't be on a phone game for kids after this engagement, I am laughing my ass off.
