No problem from me at all, i encourage devs to rip off autists of their twinkie budgets. I mean with SNAP on hold right now it would be a bad time to launch the EA but once the gimmedats start flowing again i'm sure they'll milk that whole disability check away from them.Hypothetically let’s say you are correct. What’s the problem with doing that? People get to play the version for just eq people during ea and then it’s changed for the masses later on.
It’s not like star citizen, this is just a monthly sub at the price of 1 lunch a month. You say “milk money” like it’s a bad thing, i don’t think they have taken money from players or investors so far, right? Like all of this has been done for free. I feel like you are holding this team responsible for all the other game scams that have come and gone.

That’s a perfectly reasonable fear that has solid evidence backing up all of the points. You could be right, very keen eye catching all of that, and before they even charge anyone any money. Have you shared this with Coffeezilla? Was the original EverQuest a scam too? I mean it’s not any different, are we all getting scammed by these games? You would think that the retards getting scammed would be upset about it but apparently you aren't, good on you I suppose.
However I must point out that it is very much like star citizen, it's actually far more insidious if we are being honest. Star Citizen is a scam selling thousand dollar imaginary spaceships to people for a future game that will never launch, its all just hopium ripping off wealthy whales for many thousands of dollars, sporadically paid over years.
This is a game that requires boxing to progress so its not 1 lunch a month its 6-50 lunches per month, depending on how many accounts your disability rating can afford to pay for. It's less money per purchase than 1k spaceships but its a recurring charge every single month. it's like the state lottery ripping off dumb poor people of all of their expendable income, and over time its just as expensive as 1k fake spaceships but, like on a layaway plan for the poors.
if that were the end of it then fine, but since they are milking those disability checks to pay for ultimately a massive rug pull then yeah, its a scam. you should be mad.

I was thinking the same thing?... I havent paid shit and Ive already gotten quite a few hours out of the game from this test alone. That’s a perfectly reasonable fear that has solid evidence backing up all of the points. Almost to 9 on that Bard I was playing with you on the other night. So "soon." I like it more than the Necromancer, even the Necromancer has a hell of a lot less "jhank" than the Bard does. MnM Bards remind me more of a DAoC Minstrel though, more so than an EverQuest Bard.We hit level 14 or so doing semi casual grouping, work is beating my ass this week or would be higher. 100% getting a year sub day one it is available.
I agree on increasing damage output. Player power isn’t balanced right now and it’s far too easy to kill green mobs, so anyone can solo the wyrmbane at like level 12. That may be a low level issue only though.I was thinking the same thing?... I havent paid shit and Ive already gotten quite a few hours out of the game from this test alone.

I'd say the only thing that has really aggravated me during my playtime has been the fact that people 4-5+ levels higher than the content, are killing NPC's in mass. Effectively stripping away any option that a normal group of friends would have to exp at. Sure, instancing would "fix" this and I think thats why most people walk away from this game wanting instancing - but a more general fix without instancing, and without neutering the level variance in grouping - would just be to increase the damage output of NPCs, Increase the healing done by players, increase the healing spells mana cost, and increase the exp amount to make up for the slower kill speed.
Also, for the love of fucking all things good - Make it so the Campfire buff acts like a Bard Song. Where it refreshes constantly and has a "fade" time of 20-25 seconds. As it sits right now, pullers are getting the shit end of the stick. When the groups killing the last mob, the puller is supposed to already be out looking for the next. But instead, they have to wait until everything is dead before even thinking about leaving.
There are some mini dungeons that most people don't know about and apparently some that nobody knows about. They're also adding in Fallen Watch and possibly an underwater dungeon in Scarwood at EA launch and then Rothold when module 1 releases.I agree on increasing damage output. It could also just be a lack of dungeons. They have a lot of content for their team size but in terms of dungeon options it’s lower than classic I think.
Campfire has always lasted for 20 minutes when you become fully rested. There's no need to constantly stay near it. They have a UI element showing this now so you can see how long the buff is on you. Also, for the love of fucking all things good - Make it so the Campfire buff acts like a Bard Song.
