Bro there’s like 500,000 people clamoring to play this shit and you think 4000 invites gives them a good chance?!
Judging by the numbers we have access to (Discord subs, YouTube view counts, weekly Reddit visits) it does look like somewhere between 25,000 and 45,000 folks have some degree of active interest in MNM that could translate into a paying customer. What that number is exactly and how many of them they convert remains to be seen. Also, the nature of this game's target market is that there could be a bunch of lurking boomers that are interested but don't actually engage with anything to do with the game heh.
I know people here don't actually play video games, but a couple very high profile MMO channels have recently added MNM to their 'TOP BLIZ BLAZ TO JANGLE IN CURRENT YEAR' lists. This is going to accelerate the closer we get to EA launch.
Force Gaming has a million subs and MNM was the first game mentioned in this video that got 240k views:
Waydot got 350k views on this one last month. MNM was discussed third, after Guild Wars and WoW:
Jost Strife, 250k subs, told his viewers to check MNM out on his channel a few weeks back. This clip got 40k views:
The videos the team actually push on social media channels, particularly the shorts, get in the neighbourhood of 30-40k views easily.
If someone forced me to guess I'd put the first month of EA around ~35k subs. The discussions here though have for the most part been concerned with retention. How many subs they have for a month is irrelevant. The important thing is how many they have 6 months, a year, two years after EA launch.
