Not a single one of them is being gutted, though. Not even the SK. People are just sperging out and wildly jumping to conclusions on shit we still know don't know much about.

Shawn also mentioned in the recent podcast possibly removing FD from Shadowknights. Why the fuck are they even calling it a shadowknight? It's a lie they are using to fool people to give them money. It's deceit. The class they are creating isn't a Shadowknight. It's a bait and switch so they can make their gay shit. So yes I'm sperging because they wasted my time with their lies.

I only came to this game late because when I asked about the SK here you all said it was almost exactly the same as EQ. And it was. So I was willing to overlook their garbage graphics and the other major deficiencies to play this game.

Now they have shown their true colors and I know what to expect from these devs.. nothing of consequence or quality, just more lies and incompetence. And the ugliest game around with the most generic class design ever. Ick.

I hope you all like the game when it is released. I truly do. But I don't trust Shawn or this group and will not get fooled by them again.

Came to play Sauron or Litch King, got some bastardazation of Tom Bombidil and Rhadaghast

Hilarious that you're this upset over some changes to a single aspect of a game you've paid nothing for and still don't even know what the end outcome will be. It's doubly hilarious when you realize this forum is full of men over the age of 50.

I will like this game when it's released. Thank you for your concern. Hope you enjoy Pantheon and AoC.

You say 90% of the board actually reads the Pantheon thread? I thought it was only like five people standing around making a special cookie together...

This might be an uncharitable take, but here goes. What strikes me as a little odd about their plans for class balance is how pretty much every class is getting a shake up. You're telling me not a single class is solid enough to generally leave alone? Monks need to lose the only thing that differentiates them from EQ monks? They should lean into Vanguard monks imo. SKs need " less Necromantic lore and strictly undead theming"? Ok, I guess. Rangers "need less Generic magical utility and elemental-themed abilities"? I mean, are rangers too dumb to encounter ice and fire and whatnot in the world and know what to do with them? There's nothing wrong with 2 classes sharing similar abilities, druids and rangers make great pullers by the way, much better than monks in most situations (and that's ok!) unless you need dead on-balls accuracy for splitting a camp.

It's just weird that every single class is getting adjusted in a fairly heavy handed way. It really sounds like the devs themselves are simply bored of all the classes are going to roll the dice and hope it turns out well. I'm not saying they're wrong per se, but all of the classes need adjustment? It reeks of amateur hour, a bit.

I laughed and kept doing it until a GM told me that wasn't cool. I thought it was part of the design, was such a noob.

Still one of my favorite gaming experiences ever.

I rerolled a SK and learned how to FD my trains on other groups to get their camps. That was a ton of fun.

Yeah those were fun times. The gms put a stop to that nonsense pretty quickly though. I still played for years after that and had a great time without fucking up someone else's day.
