Poopsocking wasn’t reallly a thing in velious onwards. Maybe for certain epic quest targets is about it. I was always constrained by how many targets I could hit in the time I had to play , not by how many other people were competing for them. It really depended on how adaptable you were as a player, were you gonna whine and moan if someone else picked the exact thing to do as you, or are you ok with finding another opportunity that may have opened up recently /is untapped . Some of the most fun memories I had in eq were long ass journeys to howling stones or Chardok because seb was crammed. Instead of getting nerd rage waaah spore king is camped again I’ll never get my fungus robe why can’t they instance fuck this game’ which is around 80% of people on this forum nowadays.

You can artistically make claims about things that may or may not have happened. But it doesn't make the point any less valid.
Being locked out of 10% of the raid content isn't the same as being locked out of 100%
Locking down 4-7 mobs that spawn on a 3 day timer is a lot easier to do than locking down 25 that spawn on a 6-8 hour timer.

I know you just graduated Preschool so 25 is a big number for you. But it's really not that big. There is 19 Raid encounters in TOV without counting Flurry Drakes or Symbol mobs.

If you aren’t getting 109%of the content you’re gonna bitch for instancing. If they fail at having enough content that is on them , but most of us aren’t bitching that we can’t claim 100% of everything there is.

As someone who’s actually been playing this game for nearly a year now (unlike you), I have zero concern that availability of content is gonna be an issue. These guys love to pump out zones and mobs , fallen watch is probably going to be bigger than every dungeon in eq put together.

what’s funny is because most of the whiners in here don’t even play, is they don’t realize the main concern for this game is going to be class design , esp in its current state. This game is much more likely to fail because they can’t get that shit right, and not because of this instancing nonsense

I don't give a shit what they do or don't do. I don't need to 'play this game' to have an opinion about EverQuest's endgame, and the accuracy of your statements with regard to it.
