Can you be more vague? all the fighters i know at 60 liked the changes, it's a little bad in pvp because it's hard to proc stacks but otherwise it's basically the same 2 hand damage but their sword and board improved a lot
I mean I was trying to not write a massive breakdown of the class but sure.
Really hope you aren't talking about the class as "viable" purely from a PVP stance though..
---
My bar-layout is:
Feint, Shield Bash, Rend, Juggernaut, Taunt, Kick, Battle Cry (Str), Unnerving Shout (Damage Reduction), FLOAT ABILITY, Defensive.
Shield Block and Shield Bash being on the same CD is a dumb fuckin thing. I get to choose between generating agro or a 350 point-5second shield vs mobs that hit like this:
that was done in about 1-2 seconds of combat.
Juggernaut is useful but the amount of dancing I gotta do to get it functioning right is dumb. They need to reduce the min distance and increase the max distance of the charge so you aren't put in a place of fucking your group in close quarter combat. Constantly being spammed with "target too far" then suddenly switching to "Target is too close" because apparently it calculates distance based on the navmesh path and not mob linear distance is fucking maddening especially in places like Grimtide where there is random clutter on the floor that causes "distance" to increase and decrease randomly.
They need to add threat generation beyond damage to all their debuffs, it's dumb as shit to Feint and reduce a mobs AGI by 20 and then have someone immediately pull threat because it wasn't a rend or a shield bash. Likewise, armor shred should come with threat and the 5% phys damage reduction shout should come with threat.
Whatever their "threat shot" is called needs to be on a 1 second wind-up not a fucking 3 second wind up. Follow the same rules as "Shoot" I'll give ground on this one and say 1-2 seconds MAX wind up, anything more is dumb, mobs get to camp before my fuckin shot goes off. Anyone saying "Use it to pull" sure, yeah you can do that...you better have CC in your group because fighters rank right up there with facepulling a room on a 0 CC class.
Second wind will be"interesting" when it gets fixed out but 250 point heal (before scaling) every 30s isn't going to do much when I have 3500 health (level 56) and get hit like the above.
Didn't even buy the new stance because of how pointless it is, 90% of this game is fighting blue mobs (outside of leveling...) and, on the rare chance you are fighting higher level mobs in late game that out-pace you...most groups have a dispeller and multiple interrupters. Stance is a pure PvP ability outside of some single use cases that we all know they will be inspired to do after making the ability.
Hope that was detailed enough.
