Also, people are nice, generally. Talk to people - be open on what will help you and seek items etc.

I had someone just give me a bunch of stuff, then someone gave me a new weapon- it was very helpful to be slightly twinned while soloing. Some super bro gave me some insane pally legs- its allowed me to save money and bought some stuff- I have paid it forward and given a few noobs the stuff I was given to keep it rolling

End up barely getting to play at the start of closed, finally getting time. I'm having a blast. Bummed that trolls are still a ways off. Dwarves are enough of a unit to suffice in the meantime, ogres too.

Is there any “ghoulbane”-esque weapon for a pally?

Been rocking this 2h someone gave me, but just got my mark spell, wonder if the heal-on-hit would be more useful dropping to a faster 1h.

I'm all for retro style and pacing, but the inventory system and controls are whack. Private retro EQ or WoW servers deliver this style of nostalgia trip better.

I cant remember who all was with us in Final Fantasy 14 when it first launched - but this just reminds me of Erronius Erronius and a couple of us, iirc - coming up on Girdania's Amphitheater and there was a bunch of Rp'ers having a play. Erronius just waltzed up into it and started role playing a horny old man or some shit. It was the best of times and God that makes me feel fucking old. Hell, at least I think it was you Erronius Erronius lol.
