Any folks playing DEs managed to get faction high enough to sell/train in NH? Just curious how long it seems to take. I was grinding ashira then WB for hours yesterday and am still 10% fork just getting to disdain.

Damn. I don’t mind grinding some faction. But unless they really flesh out AV/Underdocks, the thought of having to grind that long before I can go topside to everything I already know and the convenience of NH being the center of commerce, etc sounds like shit.

Which is probably based off of killing mobs 1 at a time for 1 reputation, over, and over and over. But, granted this is based on having someone baby sit you to the area - you can go to the Bends, get bracers, earrings, etc. and level up "IN" NH itself - and get massive faction bonuses from these turn ins (100-500 per turn in).
This is kind of where I feel afraid "FOR" this game. There are ways to overcome these trials/challenges, but unless you know about them - you have to suffer through the ignorance. A lot like the real world. BUT - in a game, there should be some obvious?... kind of way to know that these shortcuts are available. In a game that doesnt have glowing "!" above their head, I dont know how you do that.

Well I think the Devs love the idea of it all ending up on the wiki like p99, Shawn has talked a lot about how he loves the p99 wiki. I am concerned though that instead retards will try to horde info on secret Discords and shit which is absolutely not what the world was like in 1999-2001

FoH posts their first Lord Seru kill and jokes about “a leet strat, at use in the screenshots can you figure it out!”
I sent Furor a tell, me a random nobody in a T3 guild (if you consider FoH 1, then CoE et al 2) and was like “what am I missing, what’s the leet strat” and he told me the entire silly key grind bane weapons setup of raid and like “we just corner tanked him like everything haha thats it! lol” he also chatted with you if you found a furor corpse in a zone somewhere.

Depending on your class and deity, it seems some of the class trainers will be reasonable in NH. Gonna have to con guards and rando NPC's all the while though. Sounds like SPB/ INQ for example can take the north gate side teleporter up to their class area "relattively" easy.
There's wererats to slaughter in the underdocks too for rep. At this point, leaning towards the Deep gnomes, just wish they had some different class options. Was watching zbrushed's stream last night- he's gonna start work on the trolls in the next 2-3 weeks after some texture cleanups for the current races. Troll hype! No clue how much module 2 is gonna entail, but nice to see them trucking along.

0 chance in 2026 any of this stays secret. They'll have YT guides for this shit, shorts, etc. The world of gaming is completely different now. The only way info stays "hidden" is when a game has like 100 people playing it.

Wanting my deep dwarf pally for ultravision.... if not, remaining halfling.
spend all my saved gold for this heartwood stick and shield...
Its 1hB, but its ratio is nearly .6 like my 2h - the one shield bash skill gives + defense and damage hit that is equivalent to my other strikes (sans the super proc) - wish it just was visually a sword lol.. I am like baseball bat pally man... skill is still not up to slashing was, but its getting better and the DPS is leveling out to the 2h - plus a small bonus of more hits = more crusader aura heal (3hp a hit, but hey...)
Draid got me hooked on this quest in the bends now lol

I"m leaning toward Deep Gnomes too. I like their eye's. It surprises me Deep Elves didn't get anime eye's at least. They just have regular sized eye's which is perplexing to me for a game so focused on day and night vision.

The rare on the boat is bugged / stuck in the terrain somewhere in the zone. Hopefully he resets at some point. I tried to get Trent to reset the PH thats aggroed, but he honestly didnt seem like he gave a shit. I get it, hes probably got more bugs and shit he has to deal with than he wants to without any reward. But.. there should be THREE mobs in the covered section of that boat. If its full spawn and only one, just come back to it later.
Riverbend Gang Wars Quest - Monsters and Memories Wiki
Its a level 18-19 quest in general, but turn ins can be done early. Groups can do those mobs in low teens. There is a whole underlying faction thing that theyre trying to make work in NH and Im not entirely sure, from the Dark Elf side of factions - that everything is in place to make it work. But.. like EQ - you can charm quest mobs, illusions, faction buffs, etc. I only say this knowing that they have certain areas for Evil races, and thats how they appear to want it to be set up in NH.
