I feel like most people complaining about Ench are because they are an actual support class and not the group diva in MnM

I was stoned last night and definitely wiped our group fighting that named lol. Sorry boys. For some reason I thought dismissing my pet that was blasting through the maze would drop his aggro. I should've just feign deathed. The gummies hit real strong

I just watched the patch notes VOD and lots of fantastic changes.
I feel vindicated that Channeling was changed in multiple ways. Being repeatedly interrupted by what equated to farts hitting me in the face had me wanting to punch my monitor.
It seems like they're also taking direct feedback from us. Several of the Ranger changes are exactly what I (and a few others) asked for.

Def some good changes, certainly some "Fuuuck" changes too. Like illusions NOT altering faction.
Currently there are too few faction quests / ways to unfuck your faction such that getting your glinting key as a DE is about to become a MONUMENTAL fucking challenge.
Part of me likes that DE is hardmode, part of me too thinks that it should come with a "Boon" for being a hardmode race.

The trait / racials rework needs to come out because I need to know if I gotta reroll my fuckin class AGAIN...
I'm not a min-maxer for sure if most traits / racials are kinda like the WoW ones and simply just "nice"; but if we are rolling with +SKILL racials and traits? Man those are gold late game.

Last night I had what I think was a bug but I don't really know.
I was fighting elementals in CoI in the maze, pulled one, it hit me and then my pet took aggro. Dotted it up and noticed I was taking massive damage but no damage in my log, just that first hit. I then FDed successfully and was receiving damage through that. Stood up to heal And died. I would estimate I was taking about 100 damage/tick of whatever it was. I confirmed I didn't accidentally DoT myself (done that before) and the mob was taking the DoT damage. There is 0 damage taken in both my custom combat window and the obscenely detailed general combat log.
The only thing I could think is maybe the elemental had some sort of reflect? I'm not really sure. It definitely seemed like I was receiving my DoT damage but there was no evidence of that.
It felt cheap as fuck and I can't explain it.
Inb4 rampage takes credit for this

Yea you’re absolutely spot on. I personally think Enchanter is strong and useful. I like having them in every group, even if I’m breaking a camp and staying there all night.
My brother isn’t having fun because you’re right, he’s not the absolute star of the show with a pet that’s a better tank than our paladin and better dps than the entire group combined, while still doing all the other chanter things. I think, unfortunately, playing the beta for as long as we did, with charmed pets in the state they were, has made him forever wistful about the days gone by when enchanter was a god amongst men.
I know that he (and every enchanter) understands the value he provides to the group, but just isn’t having as much fun, and ultimately that’s what gaming is all about.
I think when we are able to start poking into fallen watch and every moment could be disaster, things will be different. We’ll see. My hope is that we can actually tackle some of that content on our own without having to team up with other groups. Maybe having an enchanter will allow us access to the places other groups can”t go.
Also, if they’d bring back Enchant Ally and make it something fun/useful that’d probably be a big help.
Noodle - I should have said to dismiss the pet, or I should’ve just killed the boss solo and rolled out the loot. Was trying to include the whole team cause we brought my brother and Druid buddy up to track, so I thought we’d all just go into the pyramid area and everyone could participate. We’ll do it differently next time. Wanted to get someone that hat!

Well I confirmed later that dismissing the pet after it aggroed sends the mobs to me, so honestly that's my bad. If I had just FD to ensure nothing came we would've been fine.
