Used the code - thank you Caliane Caliane - and then bought 2 packs for kicks with gold. Opened up Rakdos, Judith, and Theatre of Horros. Guess the game wants me to make a B/R deck?

Also pulled Zegana and two Growth Spiral for my Merfolk deck. Wonder if packs are rewarding above average now to entice people?

Also I do not understand "play" matchmaking. why the fuck is 90% of my "play" matches up against platinum, diamond and mythic with my silver/gold personal ladder ranking and a 22% collection?

its really frustrating to try and play non-competitive "play" with incomplete decks, and be running up against constant turbofog, and shit. I swear I hit more competitive decks constantly in "play" then I do ranked, where I still see precon decks..

and the zegana deck just was not working either. missing too many cards also. it should work well with the classic explore/wildgrowth walker or new riots. I have neither.

I'm enjoying my new Esper Control. Can't wait for BO3 Ranked in a couple weeks.

But I'm stuck playing on my GF's laptop since mine is fucked, so my playtime is about to go way down. Blah.

Be prepared....It is all swarm decks. I played merfolk - UG and Mono U, 5 different mono red, 2 different BR, and a bunch of Rthymn of the Wild things.

Oh god wilderness reclamation is busted. That plus the flash angel/teferi is obscene. If you have more than one reclamation out you can tap for mana between when they resolve and double up for huge X spells. Stacks with Teferis untap too.

I think gates are actually going to be used because of the new plaza, what a great card

every deck gonna play plaza of harmony + plaza gateway I bet, plus harmony makes gates worth it in a lot of cases

If you want to build a competitive deck then popping packs is best. If you dont care about constructed and like limited format then go for it, but it's not worth if it you are getting less than 2 wins in my opinion.

Opened a little over 200 from dropping 100 bucks on gems and using 80k gold I’ve been saving up. Got sets of most of the cards I was excited about, especially the new black flying demon, but not a single one of the 5 drop angel with the life mechanic.

Forgot how much fun it is when a new set comes out. Reminded me of opening packs of Legends in high school.
