That Bulls/Mavs game was easily the best of the season so far. Rose OT forcing 3 pointers and Monta doing Monta stuff.

You might be a little biased, unless you just mean the best Mavs game of the season. :p Hawks at Hornets early in the season and the Bucks/Nets game a couple weeks ago were both amazing OT games, as well. Sure there were plenty of other non-OT games that had some amazing finishes, too.

It's nice to see the Warriors play shitty and still win. With how terribly they were shooting 3's, I'm surprised Kerr gave Curry the go ahead to take the game-winning, or game-losing, shot. Kerr has been phenomenal. He's even turned Harrison Barnes into a very productive player.

I'm going to the Warriors-Pelicans game tomorrow. Should be awesome. AD and Curry on the court at the same time.

Maybe, but I watch a ton of games on league pass.

Great win for the hobbled Rockets last night with 3 out of the 5 opening day starters out due to injuries. Can we crown them already?

Can you win MVP if your team win 35 games? Anthony Davis is literally 1v9 out there.

Also, Steph Curry is good at the basketballs.

Happy to see the Cavs coming together. It's still going to be a process but they're looking a lot better now than they did at the beginning of the season. You're not seeing nearly as many mistakes (like passing the ball to an empty spot on the court) and you can tell they're starting to trust each other a lot more. 6 wins in a row is also good for a confidence boost.

Raptors really shit the bed down the stretch tonight.

edit: capped off by one of the dumbest fucking fouls by Lowry I have seen in awhile.

Lowry is a dumbass but I would like to thank him for the free win tonight. I don't think Austin Carr (Cavs announcer) was even speaking English at the end of that game.

Man, it is so fun to watch this Lakers team be this bad.

The pace at which they give up points is actually impressive.

Why in God's name is he playing Landry Fields instead of Greivis? I dun get it.
Greivis can't guard James. Not that anyone can stop him, but GV can't even slow him down. Really, James Johnson should have been starting in that case, though. He gets in LeBron's head for some reason and he was signed for pretty much the sole purpose of guarding bigger wings.

I gotta admit, tuning in to Lebatard's radio show once a week or so to see them slowly come to terms with how shit their team with without Lebron is pretty damn entertaining. They were so sure they would still be top three in the East in the preseason. They even hung up on Zach Lowe for saying they might struggle to make the playoffs with Wade's injury problems. Now you watch them and it's hilarious how much losing the greatest player on the planet has hurt them. Who would have thunk it, huh?

Rondo trade rumors starting up again - seems like Celtics haven't had many suitors and are beginning to realize the market for Rondo for a quality starter may not be there. Which brings the Mavericks to the table - Brendan Write + some future first rounder(s), and some crap contracts to make it work like Nelson or Felton is in play.

Okay but Brendan Wright is really good and fits into a consistent defensive style for 48 minutes when Chandler is off the floor. Is a Rondo upgrade from Devin Harris/Midget from Orlando I can't remember worth it really? Keep in mind Rondo can't shoot for shit and what that does to the offense. I dun like it.

Is Rondo an upgrade over Devin Harris? Did you really just ask that?
He's an upgrade, but he's not a shooter. I've never liked Rondo's game and I think that trade would hurt the Mav's rim protection and their spacing. He's old and expensive now and Brendan Wright is like the most efficient offense/defense guy in the league in his 20 minutes a game. I don't think the gain is worth the loss, especially with the contracts. Rondo is like a 39% shooter who can't get fouled late in the game because he shoots free throws like Blake Griffin used to.

If the Mavs want to upgrade at PG go get Calderon back. He's sucking ass in New York and they'd probably take anything for him, and he, historically, can actually shoot the ball while still being a really good PnR player who we know works in that offense.
