Yeah, it’s hilarious. A real rabid chimp with Stage II rabies wouldn’t be stalking people like a ninja. But who cares, it could be an entertaining popcorn horror for a rainy day.

Maybe the dad is experimenting on him like Pierce Brosnan did on the monkey in the lawnmower man? Perhaps the dad was such a fan of the film, he was trying to create his very own Cybo-Man, but the experiment goes horribly wrong.
