New Years Resolutions 2013

Put at least 15-20k into savings (in addition to 401k/retirement etc).

I don't have a formal dining room . I don't even have a dining room! Eat in kitchen baby!

Its going to be a challenge though. Between the baby (out of pocket maximum 2.5k for medical) and several other planned expenses (new HVAC for example, looking at banking cord blood/tissue @~5k, paying some folks to do some painting and drywall repair in some of the vaulted areas, nursery furniture, trip to chicago for my best friend's shower etc) its going to be a year of crazy and we're still paying off some of the repairs/updates we did last year to the house (0% interest through Dec 2013 - will be paid off Oct 2013). We should be able to sock 10-12k away no problem but I'd like to exceed that.

Lose 40-45 pounds.

Try not to log into facebook every 5 minutes at work and post useless shit.

Try to get a 4.0 in both of my last two semesters at college.

Get a new job

-Lose 10-20lbs

-Learn to cook better

-Start the process of getting the hell out of my business, even if that's 10 years away

Then, it's time to "Give the demons what for"

and "Continue to kick ass"

After which, I'll "Show the bad men what it's all about"

"Release a dove from a ghetto rooftop"

and "Cradle a newborn baby in the ruins of a church"

Finally, this year, I will "Stick it to all the suckas"

and I'm gonna "Show the man that I mean business"

..and I'm gonna "Take a computer class."
