Packers sending in the backup QB, so this game isn't really worth watching even for the spectacle anymore.

McCarthy is a douche but it was just two weeks ago that Rodgers hurt his hamstring so I can understand not wanting to take a risk.

Yes, typically a more preferred method actually over firing someone after the season. Allows the new coach to use actual games to make changes rather than relying on practices. Better to get an understanding of the players and etc in a real, live-game situation. Also allows for more time before the next season
You're an idiot, mid-season firings have never worked and I can't remember the last interim coach that actually did anything.
