Murray is mostly having success against 3-4 fronts which are much easier to run against. Dallas has faced 5 3-4 defenses in 8 games, Murray is averaging 5.8 yards per carry in those games. In the three games against 4-3 schemes Murray is only rushing for 4.2 yards a carry.
If you want to beat the Cowboys in a 3-4 scheme you have to Blitz. Washington basically dared the Cowboys to beat them on quick outlet passes. Washington made the mistake of not going after Weeden and allowed Dallas to stay in the game, once Romo came back into the game they went Blitz happy again.
Next week the Cowboys play Arizona, they have to face the best 3-4 run defense in the league. I expect to see another low scoring close game, with the advantage going to the Cardinals.

Murray was averaging 7 yards a carry last night and they only had 23 total designed runs(19 carries for him).
Here's hoping that reminds them what success they were having riding him. I don't care if he blows out both legs from hip to toe as long as it happens after my fantasy playoffs.

4.2 YPC, would be about the league average this year. Murray doesn't even have the best YPC for backs over 100 attempts this year.

Murray has had success in every game he's played, regardless of the formation. The Seahawks hadn't given up more than 60 something yards when he torched them for 120.

He is average when facing 4-3, and the best in the league against 3-4. I never once stated Murray was playing "average" he is having an amazing season. He just isn't as good against 4-3 fronts as he is 3-4.
It is debatable that Arian Foster is actually having a better season, more YPC, more 20+ runs per carry, more TDs per carry, and less fumbles. Murray leads in carries, yards, and yards per game.

Arian Foster carries the awful Texan offense the same way that Watt carries their defense. Put Foster behind the Dallas O-line and he'll match or outperform Murray, no question.

I watch every bama game. This is the absolute truth. Only take Bama DT or linebackers. It's all scheme with Bama.
I am, however, legit suprised that their qbs dont get more play. The last two never make mistakes. Which is more than I can say about most young Qbs
Some of the HCs are pretty bad at certain aspects like time management or play calling, I think lots of people may beat them there, but hc is also the leader of the team managing like 100+ people and that's not easy either

Its not rocket science to implement a scheme that has been invented. Now true coaches invent concepts like west coast offense or an air raid or run and shoot. Any idiot can explain how to run a cover 2. Most NFL offenses are just variations of formation on about a dozen plays. Its not like coaches can go to a 4 year school and get a "coaching" degree
Its 90% personnel to fit scheme and execution.
