And yet, even in a league where "offense is king", there are the shitty teams...as in every team the Pats have played has been in the bottom 12 in points per game. 4 of their 7 games have literally been against the bottom 3 teams.

Not disputing they're good, but lets not pretend they've stifled any amazing offense just yet. Schedule has been kind as well as them being good.

They were great in the Super Bowl. No question. With arthritis Gurley and no Cooper Kupp Rams. Not saying the result definitely changes, but it's a different offense for sure.

C'mon, Uber. I get your schtick. But the Pats play their own division and the AFC North. You only play the opponents in front of you, but the season doesn't offer many impressive adversaries. Offenses are favored more than ever, but this season is loaded with more bad teams than ever. And the Pats are playing them FIVE FUCKING TIMES. Seriously. Five games against teams that might win three games total between them. And that's only because they all play each other.

That doesn't impact the "super amazing elite 2000 ravens" tho? They had 4 games against the bengals/browns who each put up a whopping 160 and 180 points for the season?

These teams are worse. Way worse. Combined 1-18 record. You have to consider the fact that they might play 0-16 teams three times if it wasn't for the fact they play each other this year. This is indisputable.

In the "offense is king" 2019, Miami is on pace to put up 168 points, and the Jets 163.

who knew that the jets were going to take a step back
that the afc north- except for baltimore- was going to be bad- most were picking the browns to be a playoff team- i was (they could make the wildcard if they get their act together)
that the nfc north- would be a hot mess with the BEST 2 teams playing mediocre (Cowboys & Eagles) at Best.

Until the Pat's Defense plays vs a Playoff Team Contender this year, we really don't know how good they actually ARE(ok they played the Bills who have the 2nd best record in the AFC, but,,its the BILLS).
which is why i say they LOOK like the greatest EVAH!, but say wait til we get thru the next 5 games before crowning them that.
if they play the next 5 games like they have played the past 7 and hold the upcoming teams to sub 17points, then they'll have "proven" that they ARE that good.
