The first Jimmy Super Bowl team was almost a complete draft build. Jimmy would have done just fine under a cap.

The Walker trade just moved all the draft picks into one year. So Jimmy wins a Super Bowl in year 5 rather than year 3. Great talent evaluators get the job done.

No guarantees, NFC was still stacked (just like it was for virtually all of the 80's and through the mid 90's). But they would have been in the mix for sure.

Agreed, just noting that there was basically 2+ Super Bowl worthy teams in the NFC for about 15 years straight.
