The difference between the Bruins and Penguins was best displayed by Thornton and Neal after the game. Thornton takes responsibility and shows remorse, Neal lies. The Canucks of the East!

Because that's what I'm saying? Take off your Penguin footy pajamas and look objectively. The Penguins have become a team of whiny, dirty, cheapshot artists, it starts with that hypocrite Lemeiux employing Matt Cooke and goes on down to their "superstar" Crosby. Sorry you're some honk that just cheers for the laundry, rather than the game.

Matt Cooke is on my Wild now and has been a complete saint. I've just erased the Savard elbow (amongst other cases) from my memory.

I have no Boston/Pitt allegiance whatsoever and past transgressions aside, that slash by Dupuis doesn't look hostile to me as an unbiased spectator.

Are you kidding? He slashed someone hard enough to break a bone, how else can you explain it? Swatting a puck? If he would have made contact with the puck, it would have cleared the Green Monster.

At least I can say Adam Oates has had a good effect on Ovechkin's game...47 goals in his last 50 regular season games. Pretty impressive. Now if he'd fix his lines, and stop thinking John Erskine is a good NHL defenseman, we might start becoming more than an average team.

I missed most of the Pens game tonight(OT starting right now) so I didn't catch it, which Penguins went don't long term tonight? Not sure there's any defensement left on the roster so it would have to be a forward, right?

Also Kunitz just clipped Lundqvist's head trying to avoid him on a drive to the goal(outside the crease). Borderlinegoalie interference call, but it was close enough. Hope it doesn't cost them the game.

I really hate to click on TSN every day and see shit about shitty teams just because they're doing bad. Never do you see anything about Southern California hockey. The Ducks are first in the league on an 8 game winning streak, with a rookie goalie who is 9-1-0. The Kings are in fourth in the league, had a six game win steak that got snapped last week and a rookie goalie that's 8-0.

Silly TSN focusing on coverage/teams that their viewers care about. When was the last time that ESPN's NHL page didn't have either the Bruins, Rangers, or Capitals on the front page?

That was kind of the point. ESPN focuses more on American coverage since that's their target audience. TSN focuses more on Canadian coverage, since that's what their viewers tend to watch/care about. Right now on ESPN, of the 12 headline stories, 1 involves a Canadian team. Of the 7 headline stories on TSN, 3 involve Canadian teams. If you want a more American coverage of hockey, you can go to ESPN. Which is what the person I was quoting was frustrated about (the lack of American oriented coverage on TSN, specifically Southern American Hockey teams that are dominating).
