Its being reported MAF doesnt want to go to Washington because of his respect for the Penguins organization. He would probably crumble playing vs them in the playoffs if thats the case.

I can respect that. Even if they totally dumped him for Murray and were wrong about it.

What's the ? for? I just found the video breakdown amusing. And admittedly I don't watch much hockey anymore, but had never seen a fight after the game was over.

I wouldn't say it's common, but it's not uncommon enough that it's considered abnormal in the slightest. I guess I should listen to the audio, too, just not something that is that out of the ordinary at all for a hockey game (although obviously less so in the modern game than 20-30 years ago).

Guess Tampa needs to get Phill Kessel for that sweet sweet Stanley Cup win (lol at getting through Florida and NYR)

100% faked he's known to hate all stars and I'm pretty sure he was trying to play in the Olympics as well so still sour about that. Don't know why they don't do this shit off season

There were reports his wife was flying back from Russia to Vegas, which would seem to indicate they wanted to attend. It is in Vegas, too.

Ovi always skips the ASG. He doesnt care at all. But maybe Vegas made him think twice.

"always" just the last couple years, and he's hardly the only guy to miss it the last ~5 years. Honestly could care less about the all star game, it hasn't been fun to watch for a long time (arguably before Ovechkin was even in the league). I'm quite happy if he wants to take the break and recharge for rest of the regular season. He was only guy on the team to have played every single game up to this point.

Frankly they probably wanted him to go to keep Kuznetsov out of trouble.
