Our defense other than Seider is trash and Ned has fallen off a cliff in the last 2 months or so. I have got to imagine Blashill is going to be replaced in the offseason if he doesn't get this turned around. For years guys have been regressing under him.

I’m not shocked about Ned. He only played 23 games last season, he’ll likely start almost 60 this one. That’s a big lift. Our left side is a complete dumpster fire and is only going to get worse when they move Leddy out at the trade deadline. Hopefully Edvinson is ready for the bigs next year and we sign lindholm as a ufa

Caps look to have a little something cooking atm. Start of that 3rd period was all kind of bad, but otherwise pretty solid Western Canada road trip. Really unless Columbus goes nuts rest of the way, the 8 playoff teams in the East are set, it'll just be about seeding and who is playing well/healthy after trades and by end of regular season.

To clarify, I do think Tampa paid a premium price for this pick, but I for one am super excited about it. This is the kind of Yanni Gourde type grit go to the puck player Tampa has sorely been missing.

What's weird is how they gave them a 2024 1st round pick. That's pretty far in the future to think your team still going to be at this caliber and able to suffer 1st round pick give aways.
