Like the moves by Drury today. Copp, Motte, Braun and Vatrano the other day for mostly pretty cheap. Copp could turn into a first if we get to the ECF, but in that situation i'd glady part with the late 1st. Still have all their blue-chip prospects to keep or spend over the summer.

Unfortunately, I think a few teams in the East made some good adds as well so the meat grinder just got more brutal.

Pretty excited to watch some playoff hockey now, it's been too long.

Wow, Vegas traded Dadonov to a team supposedly on his NTC. Controversy on whether it was submitted on time or something. Vegas making a habit of doing some scummy moves with their players. If this one gets reversed they might be in some cap trouble.

Ironic because they gave Fluery away for free to make room for Dadonov....

Lol, imagine being Dadanov. You either end up on a team that you explicitly didn’t want to go to or you end up back on a team that just paid to get rid of you.

Glad we didn't give up anything major, just a couple small adds. No defensive depth is a little worrisome, though. If Kempny is getting any ice time in the playoffs can pretty much immediately write us off in 5 or 6 games Round 1.

Another loss to a playoff team. Doesn't bode well. Pretty sure Tampa is under .400 against playoff teams this season.

Panarin and Shesterkin haven't really been themselves either. You can tell some of these Russian players are distracted.

The nuts thing is that the NHL decided it was Ottawa's fault. But Vegas and Anaheim is in the end who gets punished. I'm not sure how you deal with it though. Vegas gets Holden and their pick back and Dadonov becomes a free agent with any difference between 5mm and his new salary comes from Ottawa's pocket/cap?

Ottawa didnt really do anything wrong. They traded him to a team that he was able to be traded too. Vegas was some how unaware of his no trade clause or that it was void after they acquired him.

So supposedly, there's no central registries for this. The teams keep the list so it was their responsibility to pass it onto the new team.

sucks for Yandle that even on an awful team he’s a scratch. But the end came pretty fast for him.

Big Phil Kessel will be the new leader beginning next season!
